OT.

Hi Spekulatius ....... looks like you've been diligently sifting through my older posts recently ??!! ....... I feel somewhat flattered !! {;-)

Not surprising that Russian bonds are down seeing as the whole "Western" world are "financially attacking" Russia, and all that Russia is attempting to do is to rid Ukraine of a NEO-NAZI element, the AZOV, who have wielded a Major Influence over the Weak and Inexperienced current ex-comedian president Zelensky, and who have been instrumental in the indiscriminate "Genocidal-type" artillery bombardment of innocent Ukrainian civilians in the two breakaway states of the Donetsk and Luhansk in the South-East Donbas region, causing thousands of mothers with their children to flee to the safety of Russia while their menfolk remained to defend their Republics .....

Ah well ..... at the end of the day I suspect that when all the "dust has settled", the Major Losers in the medium to longer term will be the European Union (EU) as their energy and necessary commodity costs GO THROUGH THE ROOF, especially since Germany has decided to suspend the Nord Stream 2 Natural Gas pipeline which the previous German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, pleaded with Vladimir Putin to build after she closed down ALL of Germany's Nuclear Power plants thereby deciding to rely on "Renewables", which incurred the Wrath of the Major German industrialists (many of whom are major financial donors to her CPD Party) who saw the risk that they would face regarding their necessary and reliable electricity supply for the various industrial plants, and who, no doubt, put pressure on Merkel to sort out the potential problem that she had now created.
I see that the underground storage facilities in Europe of Natural Gas is now down to only 4%. Should be interesting to see what happens next winter seeing as Europe may have to rely more on the far more expensive LNG seeing as their LNG Processing facilities are running at maximum and cannot handle a greater input.

Let us know if you find anything else of interest in my previous posts to this board !! .......Keep Well !!
