NATO's article 5 is a joke as NATO is currently constructed. If Putin gets a ceasefire, gets new free elections, gets NATO weapons out of Ukraine, and has Ukraine declared a neutral state, he's home free and can withdrawal. That's an awful lot to ask, however.

Yeah - I've got to think that the inner circle have already had a contingency plan in place just for this scenario. It's awesome to see the EU reaction and even more awesome to see how brave these Ukrainians are. New found respect for their leadership (Zelensky has really stepped up) and their citizenry. Plus, the revolt from inside Russia should be gaining strength too. Those folks are truly inspirational also.....
