Thank you, Gary. Traditional seasonal effects are known. But the steady income has changed to competitive job searching. Severely cold winter has been changed to mild winters, two years in a roll. Part timers has the same income as full timers, except without fringe. See those people in the stores, all the time. Stores are now the best entertainment for most people who are newly rich.

The Wall street surprise was that stores did very well. But manufacturing was behind in anticipation of business, hence it shows the lack of merchandises in the store, and the loss of revenue for manufacturing.

Central planning of this new economy, was to build shelves for the US manufacturers to stock. Many manufacturers have not visited stores for ages. It is no wonder, that they have not been selling the retail channel. We had to teach Campbell Soup to change to a packager; and can recipes but not just soup, which business they had to retrench. In time, this will all change to the better; when factory owners visit the stores.
