*please do not commit any micro-aggressions...

I vaguely remember some sort of bad joke we had about Crisco -

'All the fat's in the can'

I learned a while back that there are some people who can't slim down without a fanaticism that most can't tolerate. I have a niece who is very bright, has fought hard and just gave up on this. At least she is happy with who she is, so this has not ruined her mental state. Probably not many like this, as most people just eat too much.

Fat shaming is really pushing down on others. This is really evil, and it is quite popular among those who don't have genetic issues. It's just too easy to denigrate others when your life is going well. Empathy does not seem to exist in some.

As a side comment I like to think of myself as a member of what should/could be the largest support group in the USA. Overeaters Anonymous. <G>

I am not overweight so this is not about me. I am active and healthy since I swim most days and play tennis for fun, but I have to fight to resist all the snacking opportunities the rest of the day. Food is comfort to deal with stress. The pizza ads are the worst. ;p
