Hi Pat,
Yes, you are correct about Sagrada Familia. In a previous post I mentioned that as the final example of the type of generational great thinking that has been missing. But the cathedral was envisioned more than 100 years ago. I am ranting about the post WWII generations.

Little fun factoid: The lead sculptor for Sagrada Familia is Japanese. You can the influences of Japanese style in his work. True to Japanese work ethos, he dedicated his life to this project. He even converted to Christianity. When they asked him why he converted, he answered that he did not believe that he could do a good enough job depicting the stories if he did not really understand Jesus and did not immerse himself in christianity. That is such a classical Japanese way of thinking!
