Here is my knowledge of the partial history of Ukraine. Starting with Lenin recognizing Ukraine as an ethic entity and giving them SSR status. Later Stalin took away all their land and raped the Ukraine. Stalin took all their grains and let the Russians have their land and whatever was left. The great famine followed. At least 3 million died. Some say 5 million. When the Nazis came in they were view as liberators. They traded one butcher for another. When Stalin returned he executed his revenge. Up until the end of the old USSR the Ukraine maintain their unique ethnic identity. Just remember...KGB. Putin has been undermining Ukraine from day one. I could go on. If you know a different history I am willing to learn. RDK
