Clay,

Of course, Jim and I noticed (ha ha), but we like to share the limelight that the SI Costco thread gives us. <g> One gets the feeling that the market makers must have noticed it a little better than I did, with the nice gain for the week.

Hopefully, margins will sneak up also, allowing for earnings (and the stock price) to go up even nicer.

Welcome to the thread. And thanks for the 'tip' on how to hang on to Costco stock! Next time Jim talks about selling it, I send him down to the Kirkland store to buy me <b/> something on the weekend around 2pm. That should give him plenty of time to re-think over whether he should sell!!

Mat

>>PS: A hidden plus about owning the stock is that when you shop at Costco you can feel ambiguous about the long lines!

You know I've noticed that same feeling when I lean on the cart handle and people watch. But, I still get rubbed when I can't get a decent parking space <g>
