I think that is incorrect. The members of the Republican Party duped themselves into voting for Trump.

What Trump was like was well on display for all to see.

I don't think he duped them.

They have seen him full frontal for five years and he is still the most popular person in the party, by a long shot!!

They liked him and still like him. He would win the nomination today by a landslide.

This is a reflection on the Republican party's morals and intelligence even more than him.

The second most popular Republican is that dirt bag Ron De Santis.

And every southern Republican senator is a dirt bag.

The Republican party is nasty and stupid and like people like Trump!

Think about it: a decent, intelligent person cannot even win a Republican primary.

The Republican party woes dirt bags e.g. Lee Atwoods Southern strategy that appealed to racists to win the south.
