<It makes far more sense for sunw to hook up with nscp>

I don't have shares in sunw; however, orcl has enough financial backing to "possibly" buy nscp, and as I said before, since netscape has about 70% of the browser market it would give orcl enhanced exposer to all it's product lines and would probably open up more opportunities or jump start orcl's network computer which is base on Java and the internet OS concept, such as integrading netscape browser into all it's software. Just what msft is doing to it's proprietary OS . This would give a one-stop-shop approach for orcl's customers. Also, too, you'd have more third party venders writting more apps in Java for the Orcl's network computer, if ever this thing takes off, thus cementing orcl . Just some thoughts of some of the possibilities that could happen.

I do agree that a merger with sunw would give more level playing ground with msft as would orcl.
