in Russia.. at this time, no.

Not odd, but a lot of Balkan 'good will' is driven by religion. Orthodoxy is strong in the Balkans, so that was something of Russian leverage not long ago, but not any longer.

Of interest, a lot of Russian money 'lives' well in Montenegro. I spent 4mos there this past year. I'm thinking with the Russian difficulties, China must be feeling good if their one- sided loans goes tits up. I understand Montenegro's Adriatic shoreline may be sinoized if the EU doesn't help.

Many, mainly older people, only watch State TV (AKA total propaganda and lies).
Younger people realize what's going on. And the mothers of Russian troops are getting msgs about what's really going on in Ukraine. Putin's propaganda will not hold up over time. But meanwhile he will keep bombing Ukraine, turning beautiful cities into rubble and without regard to how many civilians die or how many Russians die. Hard not to make a comparison to Hitler or Romans who simply took over countries by brutal force.

A walking tour of Kharkiv shot just two weeks before Putin demolished the city.
