Can your feeble little brain wrap around the consequences of such an action, sylvia? Tesla sales would crash, worldwide, as people realize that their cars could be killed remotely, at will, by a corporation or a government.

Not just Teslas, either. Many other newer vehicles, both EVs and ICE powered, can be shut off remotely as well. GM's OnStar, for one example, has a remote kill capability. And the US regulators are pushing a bill that would require all new cars and trucks be equipped with a remote capable kill switch. Big Brother at work..
