Tesla sales would crash, worldwide, as people realize that their cars could be killed remotely, at will, by a corporation or a government. Not just Teslas, either. Many other newer vehicles, both EVs and ICE powered, can be shut off remotely as well. GM's OnStar, for one example, has a remote kill capability. And the US regulators are pushing a bill that would require all new cars and trucks be equipped with a remote capable kill switch. Big Brother at work..
