We have come across a most deserving guest of honor. It would require some deviance from tradition, however. True, but one must not allow oneself to become a slave to ritual. Change can be beneficial. A GREAT deal of marinade will be necessary, no doubt.

Holly--I am so excited!! A party for my birthday? A party at which I'm allowed to be alive and present? Unlike the last two of my funerals where I was only allowed to attend as a ghost? Last year's birthday was very exciting. Alexa revealed herself to be an alien and reduced Thomas to a green gooey puddle, but not before he thrilled me by licking frosting off my toes in a oneline aside that for some reason was picked up on and remembered with the emphasis of an XXX movie moment. Well-for a middle-aged matron, it was pretty x-rated. It'll be hard to top. Can't wait to see what he has planned. THough a good rare steak can probably compete. As for Pete calling us sane---consider the source-this is the man who started the Boink thread. Really I do think we are among the sanest people around, mostly because we don't even try to keep up the appearance of it. Which places us ahead of the general populace who still believes it can fool the rest of the world as well as it deceives itself.
