My sentiments exactly.. I feel that IBM will rebound to the 100 range, I am not sure if that means in the relative short term, but the news isnt to the point that it should effect the stock over the long run, but that doesnt help me in my positions for this month.

What has been working for me is doing a strangle on the 100 position, and entering it when the stock gets near 100, then selling the put when it traces down, this has about halved my basis on my calls while still giving myself the slim chance to see the calls appreciate.

I have dont it twice, and I need it about twice more before expiry...lol
