Understood perfectly, TR, but sometimes we speak in "goldspeak"...what some consider a basic principle" is not another's basic starting point in their thinking, OK?

I was just trying to validate the other gent's point of view since he was approaching the POG conundrum from another direciton.

You and Mr. James Blanchard see things on the same level.
In his latest issue, he saw inflation coming down the road as deflation is not seen as an acceptable solution. Inflating the money supply is simple economics - more money chasing the same goods results in higher prices. World governments would rather tangle with the devil they know - inflation.
