yes, I was the one who mentioned the parabolic move. I am not a trader either but I will book profits along the way when it appears that a stock is short term very overbought. Last year I came across a note on parabolic moves from a grey haired hedge fund manager. While he acknowledged that these chart patterns are virtually impossible to trade, he passed on a rule of thumb. Very frequently a parabolic move will end within 21 days, as measured from the breakout.day. Using February 1st as the breakout (day 1), Friday March 23rd was day 23.
