We've been importing energy from other states for decades; at least since Hoover Dam began producing it. We've closed down 2 out of 3 nuclear plants, and you didn't notice, cuz capacity was replaced before they shut down. The same thing will happen with Diablo Canyon.

I think PGE is about 35% green, plus large hydro. That includes imported green energy.

I think gas was $4.99 for regular the last time I was in town, which was Sun.
