Joe,

I liked your comment about FSII maybe being a $15 stock this week or an $11 one.

FSII's close on 11/21/96, the day of AMAT's announcement, was 12.50. The next day, 11/22, it closed at 15.13 for a 21 percent gain. Since that time, no other one day gain by FSII has reached that level.

There is another similarity as well between then and now. In the 8 trading days prior to 11/22, FSII went from 10.63 to 12.50 for a gain of 18 percent ( as noted, FSII had a gain of 15 percent last week in just 5 trading days). Lets put it all together then - in 9 trading days in Nov 96, FSII went from 10.63 to 15.13 for a gain of 42 percent. Who says FSII just meanders along with no excitement.<g>

But getting back to the present. With the AMAT announcement due on Tuesday, if the announcement is good, FSII could beat your prediction of $15. Who knows what the stock will do in the next 2 days, but if it closes at 13.75 (Fridays close), and it jumps 21 percent on Wednesday, the stock will close at 16.63! What's the betting line in Vegas these days?<g>

Regards,

Don W.
