yes, it took me two hours to just file short form with tubo tax. i had done the taxes on the long form but realize no way will i get my form processed and small return without electronic filling. There was no way to escape their screens, and also escape not having them do state form for an additional $50. I owe state a small amount i could care less if it ever gets there. gg

Do you get on a gov't list, if you bought/sold crypto? I still do my taxes 'on paper' (actually on Acrobat .pdf), and haven't finished them, yet. Made good progress this week, though. I found that Turbo Tax missed some things, years ago, but I caught the oversight before eFiling. Now I just print out the .pdf once it's filled out, and mail it in.

Thats the next Congress should make tax day the same as Election day. Also, do away with withholding taxes and make everyone pay quarterly taxes like what happened from1913 until 1941. You probably never thought about why April 15th is Tax day. It is the furthest from the past election and the election to come that you can get on the calendar. It is purposely done that way, because Americans have such a short memory. G-n-G
