Dave,

I have a question for you. What is your feeling about the database
market right now as an employee of Sybase? Do you think things are
picking up? What do you hear about Oracle and Informix out there?
All the database company stocks are recovering. I always believe that the market knows. What are your thoughts?

Jeff Bertrand

ps. Regarding more times wrong than right: Peter Lynch said the same thing about his picks, but he said that one or two big "hits" or "3-10 baggers" as he called them made all the "mistakes" insignificant. Peter Lynch owns a lot of stocks for this reason.

Theres a whole discussion on Murphy on the INTC thread (starting with #47431, I think). Seems Murphy is even worse than I thought, putting CSCO on sell at $48 (the low), and meanwhile recommending idti, cyrx etc. However I agree with him this time on ifmx. I would like to know when he issued the buy on ifmx, though. Was it near the low?
