Besides Qualcomm getting cancelations from Korean customers, Sawtek (SAWS), a manufacturer of digital processing components for cell phones, also got hit last Friday with cancelations. So it looks like the Korean problems are still far from being over. I will take a wait and see attitude towards PWAV and other cell phone stocks.

Yes, I agree the lack of portable phone purchases by ordinary Koreans who are taking a beating financial-wise is not to be confused w/Koreas's strategic initiative in CDMA infrastructure for EXPORT. We'll have to wait and see but my opinion is that of course you'll see big reductions in consumer product oriented items from Qualcomm, but that in no way is an indicator of infrastructure purchases.
