This brings us back to the J-CURVE !
Korea chips and Korea Kia cars have had it !
They need money to keep up !
They have poor quality !
...........................
At BX440 is there enough SDRAM ?
..................................
Please note bears...that we are talking "speed" not 64Kbit !
...................................
So let's recap !
(1) Supply depends more on quality as SDRAM speed gets near 100Mhz
which is going to be required when Intel goes to the BX440 this
summer.
(2) This is entirely different then 16Mbit going to 64Mbit
(3) Quality issue !
(4) Die size !
(5) Testing capability of Micron.....and Japan and Korea !!!
(6) Cost of production ! Micron the lowest ?
(7) Yield !!!!!
(8) Korea chopped by the J-CURVE
(9) Having trouble figuring this all out ????
(10) Let MU do it all (g)
(11) And just follow the MU trend (g)
Larry Dudash
PS: Thank God,I am just smart enough to know I am too dumb
to do FA(g)

Simple arithmetic tells us that 12 ns = 83.3 MHz.
A reputable manufacturer would never put 12 ns SDRAM in a 100MHz
system - even if it works MOST of the time. Just like they don't
overclock the CPUs.

Isn't Micron working on 133MHz SDRAM?

>>Because they are
dumping and also their quality control is probably being sacrificed.<<

that statement has no basis in fact. it is merely your on swag.

>>Korean memory is garbage, even at the 66MHZ speeds.<<

please post the resulting data of your multitude of testing that led to this conclusion of yours. if you don't then i'll assume it is another swag of yours.
