Options exchange a diminishing time value for a diminished risk in holding... always fostering some calculus in the time function against a date certain So, where is the larger risk... between risks of loss to one cause or another... as that in an excess in sloth and unpreparedness ahead of time and FOMO after ? I left a few in the money call options on UVXY unsold at expiry, today... not leaving all to depend on precision in navigation and execution later. Have noted my long range view of charts re gold and silver have pointed to "the end of March"... but, cannot pretend to much precision in extrapolating monthly and weekly charts. But, as a globe and a star chart might get a sailor to find the right continent...recognizing some local landmarks can help refine the effort... there's only one Golden Gate... and passing through and locating oneself with a locally obtained map... one might decipher the optimal route... and find 6640 Washington Street in Yountville... from a start made a continent away. But... reservations are required... with proper attire... and remembering to bring ones wallet... making the precision required in locating the event possible...but not entirely sufficient in itself... Still, the events of the day are left to the day... And the events in advance to be dealt with in advance... where time enables a lot of chicken scratchings and looking for signals in the noise... looking to find a beat... and to pick up the rhythm... but, don't be late... I think its a crab claw... ? That seems about right...
