Why are Dems trying so hard to do the Iran deal? Great question. Very few ask it, and when they do, the answer is usually just some vague talk.

We can only guess. I guess it *may* have something to do with the globalist idea. There was talk that Obama thought Iran was the most promising regional power to keep ME stable. If that’s what Obama believed, he’s dumber than I thought he is. Hasn’t he heard about the war between the Shia and Sunni’s? It’s been going for centuries. The 90% of Sunnis will not allow Shia Iran to be the only nuke power in the region.

Who knows. Often, people become vested in some idea - even a very stupid, counterproductive idea - but can’t turn back. It would be seen as a defeat, weakness or some other such thing. Changing course may confuse the true believers and followers.
