Small world. It so happens I read this article before. Frank Fukuyama is famous for his theory of some years ago that we, humans, have reached “The End of History”. He makes some good points, and some not very good. He ignores Russia's stated reason for the conflict - and by doing so, imo, gives up on the chance of offering serious analysis, and maybe even a solution. The best hope for a solution remain the direct negotiations. I think both sides want to stop - but both have to find a face saving compromise. Hope they try harder.
