I think the logic flawed... as all information, including $ information, can be subject to the same manipulations as you see in media re news... or in "two sets of books"... or, otherwise, always stuck having to believe that the numbers represent reality... instead of a total fiction... The point of difference... is NEVER in the technology... as it is applied in fostering a lie... as easily as a truth ? There is no surety in "information"... ever... as it is only ever "as good as the source"... while the rightly trusted source also may be misled... The issue, ALWAYS, is ONLY one of trust based in reason and responsibility... which is... about culture. The discussions in vid yesterday touched on it as... as soon as Russia or China succeed in "breaking free of the dollar hegemony"... you immediately fail to the same point... as the reason they seek the liberation... is to be empowered themselves in "printing" without accountability... They all just seek the power to cheat others... instead of being cheated by the other guy... And I see no reason to expect that will change for the better at all... under any "new order"... rather than grow rapidly worse. Gold... still only a "hedge"... as you've noted recently... not immune to fraud... and how sure are you what you own is not gold plated tungsten blends designed to mimic the mass ? The "technology" required... is "rule of law"... that works... not only to punish the most egregious... but to ensure that leaders are not cheats... or capable of imposing "cheats"... The culture... best imposing and enforcing cultural expectations and standards in honesty and trust.... is the condition precedent to avoiding money based in fraud... by avoiding a society (and leadership) based in fraud... and empowered in enabling or rewarding fraud... The elements you note... in the flagrantly obvious corruption... fully valid... Money that is not corrupt or corruptible... requires people who are not... And, there's a shortage...
