It all hinges on whether Russian palladium will be off of the market or not, and that which is impacted by what the Germans and Chinese choose to do

should Russian palladium be completely off of the market (I doubt), SBSW becomes the new sovereign

In order for Russian palladium to be off of the market, platinum must rise (80% produced in S Africa, and by AngloPlat, ImpalaPlat, SBSW, and Northam Plat in S Africa, then Norilsk of Russia, followed by dribs and drabs

Have not dug into economics of S African Pt mining economics, but understood that at ~900 they weren't covering all-in cost
