2 answers to your question
1) The wave meter will ultimately be marketed on an expansion card that
you will put into an existing PC, much like a modem or sound card. With
the expansion card, it is envisioned, several CD ROMs will be shipped,
providing you with a broad range of top content. Accordingly, the box
will likely be marketed as a "Software Library," putting the emphasis on
the content, rather than the enabling technology (the Wave System).
2) Computer useful lives are relatively short so computers purchased in
the last five years will need to be replaced in order to access new
software and communications speeds. As these computers are replaced,
there is the opportunity to sell new computers with the Wave System

POSTED BY REQUEST, IN RESPONSE TO QUESTION AT #1137 ABOUT HOW WAVE WILL GET WAVEMETERS INTO THE INSTALLED BASE OF PCs

Two answers to your question:

With the expansion card, it is envisioned, several CD ROMs will be shipped, providing you with a broad range of top content.
