Tenchusatsu, IMO they are proposing to tax the profits so the oil companies rise up and shout..."Hey, it's not our fault the prices are high, it's Putin's fault."

If big oil doesn't complain, then the money hungry Dems will tax the profits anyway since the Democrats have NEVER found a tax that they didn't admire and drool over.

Who do U think has created inflation? GREEDY COMPANIES that want to show ever larger PROFIT GROWTH. That is a FACT!!!!! NEVER in WORLD HISTORY have S&P 500 companies POSTED LARGER PROFITS THAN NOW... IT IS A FACT FACT FACT!!!!!! So stop complaining about inflation and tax these greedy companies to the profits they had 10 years ago.
