LOL! I do enjoy our debates. I asked the question to lead you somewhere and help bring a conclusion. Your original ask was how would the business achieve its goals with social conscientiousness. My response to you was to see what happens when the pursuit of the almighty dollar is the only thing that matters to a business. You are saying that you are not that kind of guy. And I believe you. But I want you to codify where you draw the line and compare that to the mainstream corporate thinking. Suppose that all is not equal. The younger fellow can after all stay late at work and slave over the weekends. The older guy may not physically be able to pull that off or may have family obligations that prevent him to do so. Would that justify depriving him of his pension and disposing of him in favor of the younger guy after years of service? Culture trumps all the laws and strategies because most things are hard to codify.
