But Russia does not have the population, wealth, productivity, or social institutions necessary. The entire nation is a Potemkin Village, pretending to be a Great Power. Brazil has as good a chance as Russia, of achieving first-rank status. India has a better chance. A likely outcome: Russia ends up so weak and isolated, China owns them.
