O.K. folks, I've been prodded to take the soapbox<g>. Those that know me, know I don't try to pretend I know everything (or anything for that matter...), but, it has become quite obvious that with the recent price spike in ACCY, adrenaline runs wild and sometimes perceptions do likewise. Here's my take:
1) Bob is right. Brian was a BOD member of ACCY, but, as of **October 20, 1997 he was no longer. **Date of press release
2) The above is not "new" news. Read post # 154 & 157. Way back in the "olden days" I and several others knew who Brian was and the fact that he had been on the BOD for NAMX.
3) Brian has already stated his reasons for the alias.
4) I've always found Brian's/John's posts to be informative, insightful, and face facts folks- "Straight from the horse's mouth" you can't get better insight. (NOT inside, INSIGHT. Brain a hypster? Yeah right, I sold out a week before the latest run-up. Good job hyping it Bri.........................
5) Why the run-up? Wake up people. This puppy jumped on no news. This was a very good momentum play. I don't mean to imply that the stock is without merit, but, look at the big picture. How many weeks was this stock stuck at $.20 knowing we had two of golf's greats already on board? All of a sudden we get a location change and boom! Volume and price go bananas. The only difference between last November and today is that today we have two players signed instead of one.
6) Like Brian stated in an earlier post, do the math. IMHO, ACCY is not worth the current float X price. However, like EPS, do we believe that it is undervalued for the future? That's the secret. If you are basing your purchase decisions on present fundamentals, you have no business being in "pennies". But, if you believe that it's a bargain for the future, then you better load up. I, myself, will not stick my neck out on that one.<BG> I will admit, however, I'm disappointed I didn't hang on a little longer for the latest run-up. So, in effect, yes there are some sour grapes involved. :-)
7) Latest press release? Somewhat disappointed. For those that have been in since the beginning, you probably share my sentiment. MONY is not new. MONY was announced as a sponsor late last year. Granted, it is now finalized, but, that was pretty much a given back then IMO. Below is the previous release: ~~Notice the reference to Brian Bissett also~~~

8) After reviewing my post, I feel like I'm coming across to negative<G> So let me try and soften it up. ACCY, as I've stated many times in the past, has an excellent premis working here with professional golf and tournaments. They also have the people in charge to make it work. And that is when, I think all will agree, the "real" value of ACCY will be known. Timing, however, is their Achilles' heel. They can and most likely will pull it off- the question still remains. When?
Thanks, Theo getting off soapbox....................................... |
