Golfer, ZERO Covid is scientifically impossible anyway and Im sure China leaders know that. The Chinese leaders are also smart enough to know that COVID isn't "jUsT lIkE tHe fLuUuUuUuU," and that forcing "nAtUrAl iMmUnItY" upon the population would be devastating. For a country of over one billion people, even a death rate of 0.5% translates to over 5M corpses that they'd have to cover up. And even keeping the death "down" to 0.5% assumes that they have the capacity to treat every single COVID patient with the most modern treatment methods, including ventilators, anti-viral pills (from American Big Pharma that China still doesn't trust), and enough hospital beds and medical personnel to deal with it all. This isn't some grand conspiracy to keep power over the people, you know. Instead, it's the result of decisions that forced them into a hole from which they'll have a tough time climbing out of.
