Humiliation and defeat.

Anybody with kids ever try this, you know, when all else failed.

I've seen it but never stuck around to watch the result.

I've met adults who claim to have experienced it.

Not my cup of tea.

Edit: I thought about this a bit and have actually experienced humiliation and defeat, so there's that. Not imposed is the difference I suppose. Who knows, maybe humiliation and defeat is where it's at. Journey to Mecca, hair shirt, self-flagellation.

Yes, I do have some idea of what the US does in war and it's not comparable to what Russia is doing in Ukraine.

It looks like the embarrassments are beginning to pile up as the invasion by Russian forces drags on. Humiliation hopefully comes next as they accept "No UN" and go back to Russia where they belong.
