*** OFF TOPIC *** Sig, Thanks for your interest in the Dutch speed-skating team. The Belgium, Bart Veldkamp, actually lives in the Hague. He got a belgium passport because that made it easier for him to qualify for the Olympics. So the real ranking is; 1. Gianni Romme (NED) 2. Rintje Ritsma (NED) 3. Bart Veldkamp (NED) 4. Bob de Jong (NED). Ask these guys who is the greater speed-skater of all times, and they will all came up with one name; Eric Heiden (USA). Eric Heiden's comment on the race was; "I'm glad I'm not skating anymore, compared to what this man does I would be a nobody". telegraaf.nl Within an hour the 500 meter will start. Since 2 years the dutch hired Peter Mueller (former coach of Dan Jansen). The dutch were always lousy sprinters. Since Peter Mueller is their coach they improved incredible. Two weeks ago Jan Bos became the new world-champion & Erben Wennemars was ranked #3. Anyhow, to be continued..... Paul
