A BBC article about supersonic missiles. Clearly, it’s a warning to NATO. According to the article, they have those missiles in Kaliningrad - which is pretty far West. Supposedly, they’re too fast to be intercepted. I think they want to prove once again to Ukraine that they need to go back and negotiate an end to this war - no nato, recognition of Crimea as part of Russia… independence to Donbas… and “denazification” - basically, disbanding the Azov Battalion - about which many - if not most - Ukrainians would be happy. en.m.wikipedia.org
