The imbalance of power in Washington started in 1951 is huge problem. Thats what I was referring to. But beyond that, if there is a bad apple in the bunch you must have a means of getting rid of it or you risk having the whole bunch decayed. This is what we have today in Washington. It turns into a culture, infested with self centered politicians rotten to the core. What I was referring to is the Presidential term limit given to the executive branch. It has given unique powers to federal legislators. Especially now that America has harvested a group of decayed politicians. Also, to what you were getting to, it only emboldens special interest groups that have invested so much into them to get them re-elected over and over again knowing they have someone willing to serve them rather than the country
