Interesting-
"I think this is a major advance," said Mike Henderson, director of network access
products at Rockwell. "We support this 100 percent." Supporting this effort could mean a
major change for Rockwell's designers. The company has its own version of ADSL
aimed at the consumer market, which is based on CAP technology. Mr. Henderson said
he expected the UAWG to issue specs based on an incompatible DMT format, but that
Rockwell would be willing to switch. "We will embrace DMT with an open heart," he
said.
