TJ and the rest on this tread - the destruction of Ukraine is worse than those inflicted in many cities during WWII
See my post at Message 33765420

I can attest that many of my friends in Russia are against this war.

A lot of assets outside Russia where frozen. Those assets if of oligarch or close to Russian leadership should be sold or confiscated and the money should be used to buy more defensive military equipment for Ukraine and then for rebuilding their cities.

Shame on Israel for not delivering and not permitting the use of the "Iron Dome" to defend the cities of Ukraine. As the son of a Holocaust survivor, I fully support such a move! Hatred for Jews by a minority is worst in Russia than in Ukraine. One must be knowledgably of history of the two states

My mother's family members were deported to Auschwitz, after the "liberation" by the Red Army they were treated as slaves to build airfields and roads until several months AFTER the end of WWII.
I had no grandparents to spoil me and on my father's side, things were no better he was deported to forced labor camps.

Later as a youngster, living near the Hungarian border witnessed the influx of the RED Army to kill those that wanted a democratic Hungary. The military hardware designated for Hungary drove through our city for several days and nights.

I am a double decorated IDF veteran soldier who participated in 3 wars and many covert operations and knows what war means, and not once crossed enemy lines at night to salvage military hardware hit by Russian guided missiles in the 1973 war.

No US agreement with China is worth the papers written on if Russia is defeated by the west. The west will come for China I guess the Chinese know that right?. Pepe Escobar is on a roll as he posted this twitter.com

Inflation = single simple cause = pixelation processes diluting US$ with megatons of freshly minted greenbacks given to the "right" people.

Taxes on imported things from China and anywhere else on the list is a sensible way to fund national interests such as defining and protecting national borders.

Meanwhile, Yanks whining about an American "news" man killed in Ukraine.

Asked by co-anchor Dana Bash on CNN's "State Of the Union" about reports that an American journalist was killed in Ukraine, national security adviser Jake Sullivan said he had just been informed of the reports as he came on the air and that he would have to consult with his colleagues, America's allies and partners, and Ukrainians on the ground "to learn more about what happened."

He said if an American journalist was killed, it would be "a shocking and horrifying event."

"It is one more example of the brutality of [Russian President] Vladimir Putin and his forces as they targeted schools and mosques and hospitals and journalists, and it is why we are working so hard to impose severe consequences on him and to try to help the Ukrainians with every form of military assistance we can muster to be able to push back against the onslaught of these Russian forces," he added.

I guess they haven't watched "collateral murder", have not heard of Julian Assange, do not know of plan to drone-strike Al Jazeera. I cancelled my SKY subscription as they stopped supplying RT.

Shocking and horrifying? Not at all. What planet has Jake Sullivan been living on? Americans have mass killed and individual murdered around the world for decades. Let's start with Lt William Calley and My Lai through to weddings, and recently the family in Kabul just before leaving. Huge numbers.

And the bloody Yanks started and are feeding the current carnage. At least Zbig is dead.
