Don’t know, GS… to me it was very clear for many years that the nato - Ukraine deal would not end well. If I could see that, so could millions of other people. What we see is terrible - but it’s also the most dangerous point since 1963 when a global nuke war could start. Even without formal membership Nato was active in Ukraine. The training base they blew up near Lviv was a nato base. Only today (or yesterday) “Prez” Z demanded US and NATO guarantees of Ukraine's security if he is to make a deal with Russia. How is that different from membership? Was it his idea? Did anyone again promise him something? And that’s the same man who is roaming the world demanding “No Fly” zones!! Does he even comprehend where that would lead?? I respectfully submit that whether he comprehends WTF he’s saying or not - this man is no friend of ours and our families. What do we know about him?? Nothing, really. A guy who got elected because he looked pretty playing president on TV. For all I know, he could be an idiot puppet. It would be the ultimate irony if the world comes to an end over someone like that.
