Common theme is about bad choices and the escalation of bad results brought upon the people who make them. I had to see Fargo having spent my childhood in North Dakota. Your take away is different from mine although in fairness you didn't see that specific movie. I did wonder what the lead characters life was like outside of the shooting, how much in character she needed to be. Reminded me of the "Comfortably Numb" song by Pink Floyd, with sadness being the drug. Curious, I remember Pink Floyd and "Comfortably Numb" with no difficulty but wouldn't know the Frances McDormand name in a billion years. Like stock trades, I can tell what I sold an option for to the penny, commission included, weeks after. I suppose I remember what's important to me, probably says something about my take on people.
