It doesn't work any better than placebo. The retrospective studies don't actually follow adherence to the ivermectin prophylaxis use. Most healthy people given the drug just throw it away. The studies count those anyways. The point is the healthy people are unlikely to come down with disease since the immune system destroys the virus. There is a vested interest in promoting ivermectin by docs who are running telepharmacies.
