do you recall the hype surrounding the Patriot missiles during the Gulf War? I forgot the company that built them or their key components, but I do remember that their stock was a huge benefactor from the positive press.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the company was Raytheon. They just completed an acquisition of Hughes (which has a big presence in Tucson).

Style, one of the companies was Intergraph. They make the graphics equipment which helps in the navigation of the missiles. I've no idea how they are doing these days. When I worked in oil and gas exploration, Intergraph was common there for CAD and CAM.

Raytheon was the missile company. Did great. Didn't own it.
