Last night, a local Public TV station carried the "Questions and Answers" program from the UK featuring Parliament, assembled, with Prime Minister taking the heat.

One of the MP's voiced the question of the Y2K problem. The PM
replied to it. He said the companies concerned should carry the burden of righting their own ships. My brain tuned into the exchange slowly so I'm not sure of what all was said.

But thought it of possible interest to the thread.
