Bias turns suggestion and allegation into facts It's natural for bias to turn any oddity into suspicion. That's bias's job. It's natural to be suspicious of the other guy. I'm not saying that's a good thing but it's an understandable thing. What is not understandable or remotely apt is, as you describe, going directly from bias to fact, do not pass go, do not collect $200. That is abandoning all reaspm.
