zeusnet: what you are getting sounds familiar. I think I have been there, but I can't quite remember what got me over this particular hump. When you say 'denies me access', how did you attempt access? What message constitutes 'denial'? Have you tried printing to a printer hanging on the other PC?

I have some dim recollections of "open"ing or "explore"ing the network and getting prompted for a PC-name to look for. I think I needed the 1st PCs name to get the 2nd PC to find the first.

NT et al. I plan to go for at LEAST 128m/processor. I figure with a scsi hard drive on board, the bottleneck for tradestation will be ram. But if not getting NT means mostly less techno overhead and little or no performance penalty, I'll stay w95/8 and mono-pentiumII just to keep my support overhead manage-able.

Correct me if I missed it, no vendor offers an AGP multi-monitor card?
