It was very hard not to comment then because then, as now, you spouted meaningless points and thought you had proved something. Your ignorance was so profound it stuck in my mind. That was hardly a debate: it is a debasing of the word to call what you were doing debating.

As for your tree statement, as an environmentalist, but not a rabid one, I do not like to let statements like that just sit there. Someone reading this thread might be misled that you had some point in posting that statement. So I offer another statement, also true, that pulp woods and timber in backyards does not sustain the biodiversity that a natural ecosystem does. This does not "dispute" your fact, which is probably true, but puts it in a context.

I am not upset, but you seem to be. You always seem to think I am upset, is it just because I have such persuasive arguments? Do you feel threatened? I do not mind that your beliefs are different. Of course I am free to post my views in opposition, as is Del. You seemed upset by Del's position which is far from being extreme. I do not know why all this seems to bother you so much. You clearly don't read scientific journals and yet you want to "win" arguments. You were clearly saying you had won some sort of victory by proving that being an extreme environmentalist was as good as ignoring the environment. You proved nothing of the kind.
