I think it will at least meet the consensus estimate. However, the earnings for the Quarter ended in December of 1997 are not that important. The Quarter ending March of 1998 is of greater significance for semiconductor-related companies.

I don't know, but someone somewhere usually gets an earnings leak, and since both AMAT and KLAC were down today, I'm betting they may not be terrible but they won't be blow out either.....
