Gonzalo is originally from Chile. In his long pinned Twitter talk, he explained that he was there in the Pinochet days, but he must have been just a kid. He's moved around. He also talks about living in Germany for a while, so he knows the herd mentality there. He's afraid that they are so strict that they won't accept any new lines being drawn for the new border of Ukraine - even to the extent that Poland and the west is thrown a bone by having Lviv included back in Poland, which is where it has historically belonged. Poland would love it and Germany would not, so there goes another split in NATO.

Jack Maxey explained that Sweden now has a copy of the laptop and they gave it straight to NATO, so I don't think Joe will ever be allowed to call the shots on the future of this mess. I hope some unelected bureaucrat isn't going to be doing it either, but "what difference at this point, does it make?" It's not like Joe's on our team.

Oh, you meant Mercouris - I think. Alexander is the Brit, Alex is the American ex-pat living in Cyprus. Both must have Greek ties. (revisiting an old post)

Ooh, somebody in The Borg isn't too happy with them!
