Anyone has an opinion on VINF. Up 500% in the past 2 month, looks like it may keep going up:
Business Summary

Vista Info. Solutions, Inc. provides environmental risk information and address-based hazard and risk classification information to bankers, engineers, insurance
co's. and corporations throughout the U.S. For the nine months ended 9/30/97, revenues rose 12% to $7.2 million. Net loss rose 31% to $5.7 million. Revenues reflect higher GUS revenues, partially offset by lower environmental revenue. Loss reflects higher operating costs due to the write-off of the VistaEXPRESS.

Collin,

I score 8 indicators on a scale of 1 to 7: stochastics momentum, moving avg. with moving linear regression, Bollinger Bands, commodity channel index, RSI, stochastics and a combination of OBV, accumulation/distribution, moneyflow & positive/negative volume index, and a combination of moving avgs and MACD. All based on what denotes overall strength or weakness for each, prevailing direction or trend, pattern construction and breakout potential, etc.

I use a variety of time periods and parameters for each "study".
8 X 7 =56 Anything 50 or over has a tendency to take off. Not right away usually but most do within a month or two. Some go nowhere, a few go down. 30% in 3 months is the avg. Stocks that double or more aren't uncommon using the system which is, like any longer-term system, sensitive to the general market direction.
