Taro,
Lisa Su is one of the top guys in our business, period!
Lisa Su is proof that you don't need to go "woke" in order to succeed.

She rose to the top the old fashioned way, by being the best engineering-minded leader in the company.

Then she took on Intel not by suing them, or copying them, or trying to sell cheap chips just to get to 30% unit share, or telling all the AMDroids to "cancel Intel."

Nope, she did it by innovating. And of course, taking advantage of a complacent Intel, who themselves was going through some leadership fallout.

At the risk of forming a personality cult, I think Pat Gelsinger is the perfect answer for Intel to get back in the game.

One more thing. Almost every chip company in Silicon Valley not named Intel is dependent on TSMC for manufacturing. That's way too many eggs in one basket. Gelsinger is making the right call in expanding Intel's own foundry services. I just hope he doesn't "execute himself properly."
